Administrative Assistant


Cornerstone Properties Ltd. has an opening for an Administrative Assistant.  The successful candidate must be a team player with good common sense, excellent time management skills, self-starter with exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail.  We require an energetic, motivated individual with the ability to perform tasks independently, remain positive and calm in a very busy environment and who demonstrates strong work ethics.  Applicants will exude a “can do” attitude in all undertakings and be receptive to change and challenges.


Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, business computer experience, proactive customer service skills, utilizing a multi-phone reception desk, and being able to multi-task and meet deadlines are essential qualities for this position.


The hours of work are Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The following skills would be an asset for the position but are not required:

  • Carpentry, plumbing, electrical skills.
  • Drywall repair, texturing, painting at a high quality level.
  • Water leak detection, restoration and repair.
  • Irrigation start ups and repairs.
  • Bathroom renovations and tile work.
  • Work inside and outside in all elements.
  • HVAC service work.

The ideal candidate would demonstrate the following:

  • Excellent attitude and work ethic.
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills.
  • The ability to follow instructions; both written and oral.
  • Present the company in a professional manner.
  • Maintain a high level of personal grooming and appearance.
  • Good organizational, time management and documentation skills.
  • Be able to lift equipment and supplies of 50lbs or more up stairs and throughout buildings if needed.

 The successful candidate must:

  • Have experience.
  • Use a smartphone.
  • Have a reliable and secure van or pick-up truck.
  • Provide basic hand tools.
  • Wear a company uniform.
  • Be able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Be on occasional on-call rotation for after hours emergency service.
  • Provide a current criminal record check (you will be reimbursed for this cost).
