  •  Must hold a current Strata Property Manager license for British Columbia.
  • A valid BC driver’s license and motor vehicle.
  • Competent with technology – including strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Net Integrity).

 Compensation and Benefits:

  •  Salary Range - $40,000.00 to $60,000.00 annually depending on experience.
  • 3 weeks paid vacation.

  • Assist Strata Councils in the daily, monthly, and annual maintenance and administrative operations of strata buildings.
  • Schedule, prepare, attend and record minutes for Strata Council meetings.

  • Able to read and comprehend financial statements.
  • Advise Strata Councils and owners on issues and resolutions as per the Strata Property Act.
  • Respond to queries from strata lot owners.
  • Clear understanding of the Strata Property Act and the Real Estate Services Act.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and provide excellent service in a high volume, fast paced environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and balance multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work well independently and within a team.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

The following skills would be an asset for the position but are not required:

  • Carpentry, plumbing, electrical skills.
  • Drywall repair, texturing, painting at a high quality level.
  • Water leak detection, restoration and repair.
  • Irrigation start ups and repairs.
  • Bathroom renovations and tile work.
  • Work inside and outside in all elements.
  • HVAC service work.

The ideal candidate would demonstrate the following:

  • Excellent attitude and work ethic.
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills.
  • The ability to follow instructions; both written and oral.

  • Maintain a high level of personal grooming and appearance.

  • Be on occasional on-call rotation for after hours emergency service.

Resident Building Caretaker (Rentals)


Cornerstone Properties Ltd., has been servicing Victoria properties since 1987 and is currently seeking to fill a permanent full-time position for a rental resident caretaker or couple for two buildings:  one 48 unit building and one 70 unit building.  The successful applicant(s) will be responsible for both buildings and will be required to live in the 70 unit building.


Key duties:



  • To conduct minor repairs and maintenance work.
  • Daily maintenance of the lobby, hallways, elevators, stairwells, laundry room.
  • Gardening and yard work, including mowing lawns, spreading icemelt, shoveling walkways.



  • Assist in obtaining quality tenants for the building.
  • Assist in the collection of rents, arrears and serve any documents as instructed by the Property manager.
  • Maintain accurate records as to tenants’ names, rent due and paid, security deposits, locker numbers, parking spot numbers, etc.
  • Assist in resolving tenants’ complaints and queries, and to refer such matters to the Property Manager, if applicable.

Knowledge and Abilities

  • Knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act is an asset.
  • A commitment to excellence in service delivery.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability and willingness to maintain and provide a high level of customer service.
  • Ability to work with staff, owners and contractors.
  • Willing to learn our specialized Property management software (Netintegrity) and Microsoft      Office.
  • A vehicle is a must.
